Description
We ditched regular cable and switched to YouTube TV! And seriously couldn’t be more pleased. Especially when snow birding / digital nomading. We can watch it on our televisions, phones, the computer, and the big iPad. You get the idea!
So not only is it cheeper then our old monthly cable television. It has the same features such as local channels, “cable” channels, and unlimited DVR storage.
And yes. Having it on the road with us is fantastic. Let me briefly tell you about traveling with it . . .
We travel with an Apple TV which connects to a regular television. It’s already got all of our stuff loaded on it. So we just plug it in. Connect to the local wifi. And poof just like having television at home.
We also travel with an iPad on a tripod and often watch television off of that.
So while we were at the Summerlin Bungalo in Las Vegas for months we were able to get our local DC channels (for 3 months then you had to switch to their local stations).
Also, while we were visiting my Grandma who loves her Hallmark movies. I could pull up some special ones for her and me to watch on the television. All the while, Miles sat in a recliner, right next to us, with his noise cancelling headphones, watching what he wanted to on his phone.
So yep. The YouTube TV is awesome. It’s cheeper then cable. There’s a family share option. And you can try it for free.
Happy watching!
