I bippity bopped a really great birthnight dinner for Miles. We both said it was one of the best dining experiences of our life. Miles was impressed. Keeps telling everyone how well I did in the birthday department this year! ๐ฅณYay!
We had the perfect table โ it used to be Steve Wynn‘s when he owned the Bellagio. Fountain side with an amazing view of the famed Bellagio fountain dancing water show. It was pretty spectacular โ not gonna lie!

I knew it would be a great evening no matter what. But I wanted Miles to feel really special on his birthday. So I set an intention. Then took some aligned action by sending a note to the Prime and explained the situation.
And voila! Best seat at all of the Bellagio! For the best fella I know! He sooo deserved the special!
“I think the role of a chef, is not just to cook, but to create cravings.” says Prime’s Partner Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. And this place did. But not just cravings for the food. This place is a multi-sensory “experience” not just a fabulous dinner spot.
Across the street, or the “Strip” as it’s known, is the Eiffel Tower all lit ‘a twinkle. Which just brings warm fuzzies in my heart โ I’ve such a fondness for France! ๐๐คโค๏ธ

But even closer to the table than the Francophile findings, in the desert, is the Bellagio’s iconic “lake” with the magical dancing water fountains! A huge part of my light work on the planet right is working with sacred water! So it was really special to be next to such a spectacular display of water art. The lights, water, and music all dancing together with the finest food and drink made for a delightful epicurean wonderment.
I loโค๏ธe being by water. Ocean. River. Sea. Babbling brook. Manmade lake. What you’re sipping out of your Waterford! It’s all divine!
Know what else is divine … and decadent?! Or meal! So yummy!

We started with the caviar course. Such a delicacy! Miles prefers the caviar on a cracker like we have it at home. But I love it on a blini! With someone else preparing them! AND putting all the accoutrements together. lol

Miles went on to have the surf and turf special with a petite filet and special lobster from New Zealand. I ordered the dry aged bone in ribeye โ with leftovers for Miss Mia the Choubedoo at the forefront of my mind! And ohh so many delicious side dishes you indulge in at a steak house โ sautรฉed mushrooms, creamed spinach, and potatoes gratin. Maginifique!

Everything about the evening was spectacular! Food. Service. Table. The one thing I would have done differently is gotten reservation earlier in the evening. We so enjoyed having the caviar course with sparkling wine. Then we split a Cesar salad. Then our entrees with red wine and all the yummy sides.
Well. Anyhow. The whole restaurant was full. Then ya blinked. And it was just us.
To be clear. No one said get out. Our servers actually verbalized more then once to take our time. We weren’t being rushed. But it felt strange. So definitely shoot for an earlier reservation if you’re gonna do the caviar service too. I’d say make the reservation before you even get to Vegas. I made ours, about 5 days out for a Tuesday night, and the options available were late in the evening.
Also, as a side note. There is a dress code. And they’re serious. I saw more than one guy turned away for wearing shorts. I wore a chic black midi-dress with a hint of silver shimmer. And I had on black Chanel sneakers with cut out camellia flowers in the leather and a solid patent toe โ we were doing a bit of exploring along with dinner and me having a comfy enough shoe to be able to keep-up was an extra birthday present for Miles! Anyhow it was fine and they didn’t say anything to me about the shoes, but I did have some dress shoes with just in case.
So. Have you been? Plan to visit? What’d you think? Let us know!
Our parting thoughts . . .
If you’re looking for a spectacular dining experience, we cannot recommend PRIME Steakhouse at the Bellagio highly enough! It was one of the best dining experiences of our lives! No joke. And we’ve had some good ones!
Ciao ciao bellas!

Also, a little post script. We were still in Vegas in the summer which we didn’t expect. Not the best snow birding our first time trying it. I was heavily digital nomading, healing, releasing, psychically upgrading, and gridworking in Las Vegas. Plus, on a human level, we were just having a really good time with all the mountains and sunshine! So we stayed an extra season. lol.
Anyhow, Miles loved his birthday so much, he planned the same experience for my birthday in July. And even though it was the “same” it was “different”. The conservatory exhibit changes quarterly. And I love seeing the displays. Plus the Bellagio has an art gallery. And great shopping. There’s def enough to do and see in the Bellagio to make for a unique experience every time!
Ok. Ciao! ๐
